You, my brothers, were called to be free, but do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command, "Love your neighbor as yourself." Gal 5:13-14
We have always had a burden to reach out into our community and tell our neighbors about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and show His love in a practical ways not just by words alone. We were just never quite sure how. Where do you even begin to find sincere needs at? But, it finally occurred to me after reading a dear friend's blog. We could create a place for people to share personal needs or needs in their community. So if you have a genuine need for something I ask that you post that need here and we will start by praying for you and seeing how God will pull together the resources to meet those needs according to His will.
Now will every need be met?
I have no idea, but I am looking forward to seeing God move in a mighty way in both the lives of those receiving the blessings and those giving them.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has not pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth, This then is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. I John 3:16-20
